He was the world heavyweight champion from 1970-1973. He won a decision over Muhammad Ali in 1971 in one of the most anticipated boxing matches in history. Joe fought Ali twice more, losing both times including the “Thrilla in Manila” in 1975! His pro record was 32-4-1 with 27 KO's.
